We check Gmail every 2 minutes from multiple global locations. This page shows the live status, 24-hour uptime and recent incidents, so you can see at a glance whether the problem is on their side or yours.

We perform HTTP availability checks from our distributed worker network. A service is marked as down only when multiple independent locations fail, which filters out false positives from a single network hiccup.
